ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced results driven retail Store Manager to be responsible for the overall store management. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, manage staff effectively by motivating, inspiring their team and maximizing profit performance by achieving KPI’s targets. The successful candidate will analyse week to date, period to date, and year to date KPI’s, and develop action plans to drive top line sales The candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, manage staff effectively, help develop business strategies to raise store traffic and optimize store profitability and improve the customer experience in line with the retail strategy. Lead and develop a sales and customer focused team. Inspire the team and all customers with our brands fashion and lifestyle image and products.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
  • Meet KPI’s by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff and ensure that all brand values are understood including product knowledge and seasonal messages
  • Responsible for the achievement of store inventory shrink targets
  • Ensure that all staff are trained on retail polices and produces and that those are adhered to the company standard
  • Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
  • Be responsible for carrying out all staff appraisals and counselling/disciplinary procedures, in conjunction with management and HR Department
  • Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Carry out and maintain all health and safety requirements and ensure the store is operated as a safe working area in accordance with local legislation
  • Observe all procedures with regard to securing the premises, staff, company monies and stock
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
  • Manage and oversee all cash handling and banking procedures in store are followed according to company policies and procedures
  • Ensure all company administration is kept up-to-date and relevant information passed on to Head Office in timely manner
  • Knowledge of stock and all aspects of running the store from till operation to stock replenishment and petty cash purchases
  • Be fully competent in the operation of the POS System and utilize report facilities to analyze business needs
  • Up to date knowledge and understanding of current fashion trends and knowledge of all current in store stock
